Umoja Community Program

Meet with your Umoja success team to stay on track

We're Here to Help!

In alignment with the Umoja Practice of being "intentional and deliberate" we encourage you to make an appointment with any Umoja counselor if you are experiencing anxiety about taking an online class; passing all of your classes with a "C" grade; uncertain about whether or not you are ready to transfer; uncertain about your major; in need of an educational plan or you just need to talk. No matter what your needs are, the Umoja team of professionals stands ready to serve you!

What You Need

  • Ensure your home college is Moreno Valley College. You can only receive support services at your home college. This can be changed by Admissions & Records.
  • Have your student ID number and date of birth ready - you'll need it to log in for an appointment!

How Appointments Work

Choose what kind of appointment you need: in-person or online. In-person appointments meet at a physical location. Online appointments generate a Zoom link. You do not need a Zoom account. You can attend your online zoom appointment on a computer or mobile device. Use your RCCD student email for all communication.

Restrictions

You will not be able to schedule an appointment with MVC ESARS if:

  • You are a first-time college student and have not completed orientation or your first semester ed plan
  • Your home college is not Moreno Valley College
  • You have not applied
  • There are no available appointments within the next seven days.
