Get assistance planning your academic future through your school's engagement center.
Counseling available on Saturday, December 3 and during Thanksgiving Break
Meet with a counselor on a Saturday or the first three days of Thanksgiving Break! Make an appointment or drop-in to the Welcome Center (in-person) from 10 am - noon.
Get assistance without an appointment in 15-minute sessions. You may be helped by a counselor, educational advisor or peer mentor. Hours may change without notice.
Daytime online support is available through Zoom. Simply drop in during open hours.
For in-person assistance, stop by the BCTC School of Public Safety Building to check in.
Schedule an in-person or online meeting with a counselor to have a longer conversation about your academic goals. For help, call Public Safety Counseling Services at (951) 571-6165. In-Person appointments are held at the Ben Clark Training Center.
The School of Public Safety is one of the largest public safety training centers in Southern California. We prepare students to work as law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, correctional officers, dispatchers, probation officers, crime analysts, and specialists in emergency management and homeland security.
